Use NeoIPTV on Apple TV with an IPTV player
Apple TV needs a player app, and the options are better than you might think. Here's the cleanest way to watch.
Apple TV doesn't allow sideloading the way Android does, but there are solid player apps in the App Store.
Pick a player
Good options include iPlayTV, GSE Smart IPTV and IPTVX. Install one from the App Store.
Add your login
- Open the player and choose Add playlist.
- Paste your M3U link, or choose Xtream Codes and enter your server, username and password.
- Save, then let the channels and EPG load.
Tip: use your iPhone to type
Long logins are painful with the Siri remote. When the Apple TV asks for text, an iOS notification lets you type the login on your iPhone keyboard instead.
Refresh the guide
If the EPG is empty, pull to refresh or disable and re-enable the playlist's EPG source.
Apple TV works best with an M3U link for the simplest possible setup.
